My Last Days in Naze Amami-shi

Well my transfer's in Amami are over but my heart took a small piece of that island with me when I left. It was a very beautiful place. But I have moved on and headed north for the Summer. We took a long bike ride around the island before I left. Here are some of my cool photos. Do you remember the "Spider Bite"? Here is the sweet scar that it left. Well Hello - Family - I enjoy my new area very much. My comp Elder Tokuzawa is great! Im sure you will get all of this after the Mothers Day phone call so I wont spend to much time with details. I will talk to you soon! Enjoy the pics. I love you, Japan is a beautiful place! Mother's Day Phone Call

Well we finally got to speak with Elder Chandler today! MOTHERS DAY! He is doing well in his new area of Omuta. In this photo he is with his new companion Elder Tokuzawa. (he is the tall Elder to the right of Elder Chandler in the photo) They served in Okinawa together, but not as companions. Elder Tokuzawa is from Tokyo and what is really interesting about their companionship is that they were both born on the same day! How cool is that?

The area of Omuta is a difficult place to serve. The small branch has only about (40)forty members that come to Church. The building is rented and not a Church building. Hopefully our Missionaries can bless this area with their hard work. Elder Chandler is excited to be serving with his companion and will do his best.

We are sorry to hear that their is not a local place for us to email him each week. We got so used to being online with him on P-Day. It was interesting to hear about all his stories while we spoke to him on the phone. He still has the wonderful sense of humor that we all love about him. Elder Chandler said the days are going by so fast and soon his time as a Missionary will be over. It will be bitter sweet. His Japanese language is wonderful, but his english is sliding a little. It was good to hear his voice!

WE ALL LOVE YOU ELDER COLE! KEEP SMILIN'
