Another Letter Today from Elder Cole

We finally got a photo of Elder Cole in front of the Kumamoto Castle. He had a wonderful time with the other Elders. This is one place we will visit when we go to Japan in 8 short months. Time is flying by!

This was a long letter. Cole has not had a chance to email us for a while so it was really good to hear from him. All is well in Omuta. Transfers are coming on July 22. Elder Chandler would really love to return to Okinawa and see how his "island friends" have been doing. He has written members there and has close friends.

The heat is on in Kyushu. Cole said he is loosing weight again. He would also love to hear from any of you, so send him a letter.

Take care Elder Cole!

Letter From Elder Cole

How is everyone? I'm good. Like I said in my email, i'm still in Omuta but my comp changed. Elder Kitamura is from Hokkaido. He is 26. Thanks for the video of the bus it was rad. I think it looks super good and those tires on the back should allow for speeds of over 60 :-) haha. But yeah it looks way good i think. I am really excited to be able to come home and drive my BUS! But yeah like I said we spent our last P-Day in Kumamoto City. It's the 2nd largest city on the Kyushu island which means there are a lot of way rad stores. I searched the whole day for a pair of super Japanese boots. I found them for a good deal of 6,434 Yen. But while I was at the register I thought maybe i will use the 外国人 "foreinger power". I said to the guy, "Mabey I wont get these, I really want them but $64 US is kinda pricey". Even though its dirt cheap normally about $300 US for boots like these. He was like "Hold on a second" then pushed a button and suddenly 2,043 Yen pops up on the screen. I was like astonished. He was like if its this much will you buy them? So of course I bought them. So that was fun! We then had zone conference the next day. After z.c. we made flyers for English class. We didnt have enough time to make it back home so we spent the night again. It was way fun & the Elders in that appt are way fun. I have been looking for a school and a plan to come back. I just need to decide and do it. The only pain will be getting a visa to come back. Its not super hard, but it might be a hassle. Also the December after I get back home I have to take a Japanese language fluency test. The closest place I have found is in California. I have been studying super hard so we will just wait and see.

Well I love you all Cole (E)
